Calendar collection 1896 - 1986

The collection consists of fourteen miniature printed pocket calendars, a pocket omer calendar, a booklet-sized 24 year calendar, and a hand-drawn calendar. Of the fourteen pocket calendars, three were printed by the Jewish National Fund for the years 1920-1921, 1924-1925, and 1955-1956. Three were printed by Kollel Chabad, two for 1971-1972 and one for 1985-1986. One was printed by Reverend S. Taitz in 1929-1930, one by Meyer London Matzos Bakery for 1930-1931, two by Talmud Torah Yeshivath Haye-Olam in Jersusalem for 1971-72 and 1975-76, and one was printed by Ezras Torah in New York for 1969-70. The final three calendars were printed by separate Judaica stores, one of which was located in Washington Heights, New York. The pocket omer calendar was printed by Colel Hibath Jerushalaim for 1974. The booklet-sized 24 year calendar is a Hebrew-English calendar printed by the H. J. Heinz Company of Pittsburgh, PA, for the years 1946-1970. The handwritten calendar is from 1896 and lists the days of the Hebrew month of Elul along with some notes in Yiddish.
